About Us
What makes us unique as a full-service hospital? To begin with, we are not owned by a corporation. Dr. Smith, who purchased the hospital in 1991, lives in Carpinteria and has raised his family here. He is dedicated to providing the friendly, compassionate care and customer service for which our town is known. Our recommendations are based on our patients’ and clients’ best interests, not our pocketbooks. As part of our service to the community, we work exclusively with Animal Control Services, providing medical care and housing for all the city strays, whether they are finding their owners or finding new homes.
